Garrett Leight California Optical Unveils An Impressive Assortment of Frames For SS15

I’ve been a fan of Garrett Leight’s eyewear assortment from the first moment I laid eyes upon them a few years back at Capsule Show. The sophisticated line doesn’t take itself too seriously, offering a full range of optical and sun styles in updated classic silhouettes. For the Spring/Summer 2015 season, we have a selection of favorites from Leight, along with some great color updates. I wanted to share some of my favorites with you, one being the Dillon (seen above).

I’m definitely thinking this style with be the “it-pair of sunglasses” for the coming season. The shape is universally flattering, and is offered in cool pastels with mirrored lenses for those that want something a bit more playful.

The Kinney Clip is a folding metal clip-on to be worn over Kinney optical frames. The more square frame shape flatters medium to larger sized faces, as not to look like you’re wearing your younger cousin’s frames on purpose. Ha!

The Milwood Sun style has always been a favorite of mine giving its round shape with tapered edges. I’m really digging this update in a pink crystal frame with a magenta layered mirror lens. Multi-faceted styling!

The Van Buren is a new foldaway style that I believe is pure genius. Featuring CR-39 Flat Zero-Base Lenses, these lightweight metal frames have three barrel hinges that fold into a small square, and tuck away nicely into a custom mini-case. Great for minimalists and those that love gadget sensibility in their everyday wear.
