Located in the heart of Fort Greene, Brooklyn, The Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA) is one of my favorite cultural destinations. I believe it is one of the institutions that best represents my experience as young Caribbean-American creative in Brooklyn. Their exhibitions always push culture forward, and have open dialogue for those of the diaspora and beyond.
As part of their mission to push culture forward, they launch ‘Self-Care Sundays’ this Sunday, March 22nd, as an initiative to provide affordable access to healing modalities that promote shaping a more balanced lifestyle, for communities of color. A great way to unwind, and start your week on the right note! Details below.
