New Music: Frankie P. Stirs Up The Pot With His Latest Release, “Sancocho”

In the realm of food, sancocho is a stew originated in the Dominican Republic when the Spanish gave their slaves all the leftovers from their meal, then the slaves added all the ingredients in form of a soup. In the realm of music, Sancocho is the name of my friend & super-producer Frankie P.’s latest project. The project’s 15-tracks are a musical gumbo, featuring previously released songs interspersed with a bunch of new joints. You’re really able to hear Frank’s full musical complexities on the work, which includes Audubon, Camille Safiya, Bodega Bamz, Crystal Caines, GTO, and many more.

You can stream Sancocho above on Soundcloud. Download the full project over at AudioMack.
