On the evening of Thursday, March 27th, the team at one of my new favorite eyewear brands, Garrett Leight hosted an exclusive gathering with cocktails and views. Held in the penthouse suite of the Standard East Village, the night served as a showcase of Garrett Leight’s newest optical offerings, along with the unveiling of the newest issue of the brand’s lifestyle magazine, Spectacle, seen in the photo above.

The penthouse suite, situated on the 21st floor of the hotel, provided breathtaking wraparound views of the entire city. I snuck out to the terrace sans coat to take the photo up top, and it was definitely worth it.

Along with the brand’s namesake offerings, Garrett Leight is also known for his collaborations with various designers. Up top is a special pair of sunnies crafted in conjunction with designer Waraire Boswell.

Guests sipped on hand-crafted spring cocktails, provided by Zarco Tequila. There was champagne for the latter, and cool jams to vibe to, which I really appreciated. The event overall was laid-back with a full focus on the product. Check out the gallery below for more photos!
