North America’s largest lingerie event, CURVExpo, held a remarkable lingerie fashion show on the evening of February 24th. The show, entitled Lingerie Fashion Night In, showcased both local and international lingerie collections for the Fall/Winter 2014 season in a classy runway presentation at Tribeca Skyline studios.
The evening shared looks from over 50 designers, including some of my favorites, Aubade, Natori, Wacoal, Maison Lejaby, and Commando. The cast of models was real-looking, coming in all colors and sizes, which was very refreshing as it gave buyers, press, and other guests a much better idea of how pieces look on the wearer.
It was nice to see very colorful negligees and bra and panty sets on the runway. It took away from the seriousness most of us are used to when it comes to lingerie. One of my favorite sets is in the photo above, a deep teal bra & panty set with floral detail.
Check out the photos below for more looks from Lingerie Fashion Night In.
Many thanks to the folks at Trent & Company for having me, along with the amazing gift bag from the sponsors!
