On February 11th (AKA the most hectic day of my Fashion Week experience), I had the opportunity to hang out and shoot make-up master AJ Crimson in action backstage at Fashion Palette. Fashion Palette is a showcase of emerging Australian designers during New York Fashion Week. This season’s presentation hosted designers Phillipa Galasso, Tightology, and Steven Khalil.

Given the fact that I was strapped for time, I was only able to shoot some make-up looks backstage, mainly that of Group B, which you see a guide for up top. The ladies of Group B wore very clean faces that were well moisturized, but blank, with a focus on deep, burgundy lips and show-stopping brows.

This was my favorite model, with the final face while getting her manicure done. I loved the simplicity of the look with a bold lip; it was quite balanced.
