On Wednesday, August 7th, my good friend Ashley of What Would Ashley Wear? and I celebrated our second edition of Sparkle and Sip. We started the event last summer as a means to connect influencers in New York City in a no-nonsense venue, whilst serving as an unofficial birthday party for us both. My birthday is July 24th and Ashley’s is July 25th.
For the second go around, we held tight to the same venue, No Fun NYC, and our favorite DJ, Olivia Dope. We also had complimentary drinks made possible by Smoke Liqueur and Mia Dolcea prosecco. Guest raved over Smoke, which is a vodka/moscato hybrid with a slight coconut flavor. The bartender served Smoke on the rocks, with a splash of cranberry, or (the crowd favorite) with a splash of pineapple.
Guests danced the night away to JAMS made possible by Olivia Dope. She’s our favorite because her musical tastes are vast, spanning from Nirvana to Vybez Cartel, and everything in between. It doesn’t hurt that she is also a dancer, so she was able to keep the party rocking until past midnight!
