A few weeks back I had the opportunity to attend the Yoana Baraschi Fall/Winter 2012 collection preview. Held in their showroom in the Garment District and organized by HL Group, the collection preview was an inside peek for editors and bloggers. The made in New York collection boasted vibrant color combinations for the colder months, seeking inspiration from jazz. We see this in the fluidity of the dresses and bold usage of color. Yoana’s staple prints and embroideries are seen throughout in blouses, dresses, and skirts. I was happy to see the introduction of a few tribal prints as I love them so, and Yoana styles them in such a sophisticated manner. Check the photos below for some of my favorite looks.
These looks won’t be in stores until late August at the earliest, but anticipation is always great right? In the meantime, be sure to check out her spring collection on her website and say hello on Twitter.
